Ensure that you have a file called aliases.paf in the main PIRCH directory open c:\windows95dir\pirch32.ini in a text editor.
Search for "aliases" and ensure it points to your proper pirch dir.
If the file does not exist then you will have to add a section like below :-
[Main]
aliases=c:\pirchdir\aliases.paf
events=c:\pirchdir\events.ini
Also rename \windows\pirchutil.ini if it exists to anything you want.
